Straying from Life’s Purpose

The path of virtue once was clear to see
It led to peace and eternity
But now the way is overgrown with sin
Life’s purpose lost, our fate grown dim

Thorns of temptation snare our feet
Leading us down sin’s deceit
Vines of vice our will entwine…
